1. Who we are

deathmoney.fyi (the "service") is operated by Anchor Marianas LLC ("we", "us", or "our"). These terms of service (the "terms") govern your access to and use of the service. By using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

The service is a personal finance tool that helps you estimate your earn rate, burn rate, runway, and a financial freedom number from data you enter or import. It is provided for general informational purposes only.

3. Not financial advice

The service does not provide financial, investment, tax, legal, or accounting advice. All numbers, projections, and suggestions are estimates for informational purposes only and may be inaccurate. You are solely responsible for your financial decisions. Consult a qualified professional before acting on anything you see here.

4. Your data

Most of your data stays in your browser using local storage and is never sent to our servers. If you choose to use the optional AI analysis, the statement data you submit is sent to a third-party AI provider to generate results. Please review our privacy policy for details on how information is handled.

5. Purchases and payments

We may offer a paid founding lifetime license and other paid features. Payments are processed by Stripe, and by purchasing you also agree to Stripe's terms. Prices are shown at the point of purchase. Because the service is in beta, features and pricing may change over time. If you believe a charge is in error, contact us and we will work with you in good faith. Except where required by law, purchases are non-refundable once access has been granted.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these terms;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or its related systems;
• interfere with, disrupt, or overload the service; or
• copy, resell, or reverse engineer the service except as permitted by law.

7. Intellectual property

The service, including its software, design, and content, is owned by Anchor Marianas LLC and is protected by applicable laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your personal use. The data you enter remains yours.

8. Third-party services

The service relies on third-party providers, including Stripe for payments, hosting and analytics providers, and an AI provider for optional analysis. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of these third parties, and their services are governed by their own terms.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error free, or secure.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Anchor Marianas LLC and its owners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or one hundred US dollars.

11. Changes to the service and these terms

We may modify or discontinue the service, and we may update these terms, at any time. When we make material changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state or territory in which Anchor Marianas LLC is organized, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts located in that jurisdiction.
